We built Barfly BA for the expats who've spent months searching for somewhere to just sit down, drink a cold beer, and feel at home. For the tourists who want the Buenos Aires nobody photographs. For the porteños who've always been curious about what a real American bar actually feels like.
Worn wood bar top. Mismatched stools that have heard a thousand stories. Neon signs that hum. A jukebox that plays whatever the hell it wants. American whiskey, cheap draft beer, and a bartender who knows your name by your second visit.

We have fourteen bar stools. That's it. No booths, no tables, no velvet ropes. You come to Barfly BA, you sit at the bar. You talk to the person next to you, or you don't. You drink. You listen to the jukebox. You stay as long as you want.
The bar stool is the most honest seat in any room. No performance, no pretense. Just you, your drink, and however the night unfolds. Some of the best conversations in Buenos Aires have happened on those fourteen stools.
No Reservations
First come, first sit. Walk in, find a stool, order a drink. That's the system.
Cash is King
We take card too, but cash gets served first. That's just how bars work.
